Training Award Finalist

4 September 2024

Neuro Therapy Network is a shortlisted finalist in the 2024 Nimble Awards in the Positive Community Impact category.

One of the major benefits we offer to our member therapy centres is an online learning management system, the key feature of which is a theory training and testing module for oxygen chamber operators.

The course was created and developed in-house by NTN based on our comprehensive training manual, which is a vital reference tool for centres offering oxygen therapy. Almost 400 chamber operators from therapy centres across the country have enrolled in our oxygen training, with future modules planned.

The course was developed using a learning management system platform provided by Nimble: an e-learning industry leader that empowers organisations to build their own online courses to support teams with continuing professional development and track their progress.

The annual Nimble Awards celebrate excellence in the design and delivery of online courses. The Positive Community Impact category is awarded to the organisation demonstrating significant community impact through the use of e-learning within the local community, or as part of a wider positive societal force for change.

In shortlisting Neuro Therapy Network, the judges said: "NTN’s innovative use of limited resources to create a user-friendly training course demonstrates a strong commitment to quality and effectiveness. By transforming a 60-page manual into an interactive online module, NTN ensured consistent and accessible training for 389 learners nationwide, achieving an impressive average test score of 88%. This shift not only improved the quality and uniformity of training but also facilitated easy updates to keep the content current. The successful implementation highlights NTN’s dedication to improving HDOT delivery and supporting its member centres in securing funding through demonstrable training excellence".

Award winners will be announced at the 2024 Nimble Community Day on 18 September.
