Vacancy - Marketing & Communications Manager

The Role
• Permanent
• Part-time 8 hours per week
• Flexi- hours
• Remuneration £18 per hour paid to the relevant Centre to include on-costs or £18 on a self-employed basis* see below.
• Responsible to The Board of Trustees.
• Start date: As soon as possible.
Key responsibilities
• To work closely with the Member Centres to ensure that they are maximising all the benefits of being part of the Neuro Therapy Network.
• To liaise and work closely with the Board of Trustees.
• To manage and action the Marketing of Neuro Therapy Network for the benefit of our member centres
• To lead on external relations.
Centre Support
• To take a proactive approach to communicating with all Centres
• To support Centres with login issues with our Learning Management System(LMS)
• To support and encourage Centres' active participation using Slack, any relevant WhatsApp Groups, and Social Media platforms
• To attend monthly online Centre Managers’ meetings.
• Provide easy access links to various portals for Centre use via the website.
Marketing
• To work with the Trustees, ensuring a fully responsive, engaging and up-to-date website, including relevant, timely and regular news items/blogs.
• To signpost information for potential Centre users to be able to find a Centre.
• Provide information for Funders and potential donors on the website.
• Publish, maintain and promote the list of benefits of membership of NTN.
London Marathon
• Secure participants for the London Marathon to run on NTN’s behalf
• Administrate London Marathon spaces for NTN and Member Centres
• Manage rotation of Centre spaces for the London Marathon
Support Trustees
• Provide a monthly written summary for the Trustees to be published two working days before each board meeting (normally 6 times per year)
• Respond promptly to all emails from outside the organisation.
Person Specification
The post holder will be expected to have knowledge and experience in the following:
Essential:
• A positive and supportive approach.
• An understanding of the roles and importance of the collective Centres
• Experience in managing websites and social media platforms, knowledge of WIX is an advantage.
• Experienced in the management of social media platforms, e.g., X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Desirable
• Experience of working in the Voluntary or Charity Sector
• Knowledge of Canva for professional graphics and marketing materials.
• An understanding of Google, Google Ads, WhatsApp and Dropbox.
Support and Training
The whole board of Trustees will be there to support the person appointed.
The appointed person will work closely with the following trustees for additional training and support

Howard Cheetham – Oxygen
Gideon Schulman and Steve Wilson – Centre Management
Engagement Options
Option 1
NTN will pay the Centre for an existing employee's hours at £18 per hour, 8 hours per week. These hours can be worked flexibly to suit the needs of the tasks, rather than in a set block of hours. The terms and conditions would be in relation to any existing contract. The NTN element would be subject to one month’s notice.
The payment would include all on costs, e.g., NIC, pension, etc.
Option 2
A self- employed contract. The person would need to have or get a Unique Tax Reference (UTR).
The payment would be based on a rolling monthly contract with one month's notice and payment of £18 per hour. A monthly invoice would be required, paid by bank transfer.
